Sanctions for export and import
Sanctions for export
The export of certain goods to certain countries is prohibited or a licence is required for it. This is a result of national and/or international sanction measures. It concerns for example the export of military goods to countries at war, or the export of goods to countries governed by a dictatorial regime. Customs checks in those cases if the licence necessary for the export is included in the goods. If that is not the case, Customs stops the export.
Sanctions for import
Sometimes, the import of certain goods from certain countries is prohibited or a licence is required for it. This is a result of national and/or international sanction measures. Customs checks in those cases if the licence necessary for the import is included in the goods. If that is not the case, Customs stops the import.
