Sealing using a seal of a special type
The 'Authorisation to use a Seal of a Special Type' allows you to use seals of a special type that deviate from the regular seals used by the customs authorities. You may use the seals when transporting goods under customs control.
You may use this Authorisation for seals which comply with the statutory requirements and which you have submitted to the customs authorities for approval. Said seal will be included in your Authorisation.
In addition, this Authorisation allows you to make use of the approved seals set out below. These seals concern seals whose holder has the 'Authorisation to use a Seal of a Special Type', in addition to having the approval for third parties taking over the seals where a container or a vehicle has already been sealed using its own special type. The aforementioned seals are not included in your Authorisation.
Please find an overview below of the seals of a special type as approved by the Dutch customs authorities.
