Payment

Always state the payment reference listed in the 'Payroll tax return letter' when you make your payments.

The timeliness of payments is determined on the basis of the time at which the payment is transferred to our account.

You transfer payments to our IBAN account number IBAN NL86 INGB 0002 4455 88, in the name of the Belastingdienst, the Netherlands. When you use Internet banking to make payments or payment orders are automatically generated by your accounting software then you must make sure that you transfer the amounts to the correct account number and cite the correct payment reference.

Do you make your payment from a foreign bank account?

In that case you need:

  • Our bank account number: NL86INGB0002445588
  • The BIC (Bank Identifier Code): INGBNL2A
  • Our name and address:
    Belastingdienst
    Postbus 9048
    7300 GK APELDOORN
    The Netherlands

Please note!

Always put the correct payment reference with your payment. The payment reference consists of 4x4 digits.

If you don’t pay in euro

If you don’t pay in euro, the bank must convert your currency into euros. Your bank will charge you for this. In addition, your bank will charge you an international transfer fee. You have to add these costs to the amount of the payroll tax return. If you have any questions, please contact your bank.
