Do you need help with your taxes or benefits? You can schedule an appointment online. You can visit a tax office or support point, or speak to a representative by phone or video call. Would you like to arrange a video call? Scroll down to see the steps you need to follow to join the video call.

Make an appointment (only available in Dutch)

Please note!

The appointment booking feature is not yet available in English. We apologise for the inconvenience. You can still use the feature in Dutch to make your appointment or contact us for assistance.

You may want to call us but still need to visit us in person. Or you may prefer to visit us, but a phone call is required instead. In some cases, we can assist you better if you come to our office, for example, if you are a surviving relative. In other cases, calling us may be the best option.

That is why we ask you to specify what you need help with. This way, we can make sure you receive the best possible assistance.

Trouble booking online? Here’s what to do

You can call the Tax Information Line. A representative will schedule an appointment for you.

Are you an entrepreneur?

You can only book an appointment by calling the Tax Information Line: 0800 – 0543. A representative will call you back within 2 working days to schedule the appointment.

Need help with your income tax return?

You cannot book an appointment for assistance with completing your income tax return as an entrepreneur. However, you can call us if you have a specific question about your income tax return.

If you have a hearing or speech impairment

  • Call us using KPN Teletolk.nl.
  • You can also have someone call on your behalf.
  • Send your question in a letter. We will respond by letter as well. Please send the letter to your tax office (only available in Dutch).
  • You can visit us without an appointment.

Booking an appointment with us

You can specify the topic you need help with. If you want to visit us in person, enter your postcode to find the nearest offices or support points. Then, you can choose a time that suits you. If you prefer a (video)call, select a time that works for you.

Would you like to bring your partner or housemate to the appointment?

You can. There is no need to mention this separately when you book the appointment. During the appointment, you can take care of tax or benefits matters for both yourself and your partner. You do not need to book a separate appointment for this.

You will receive an email confirming your appointment

The confirmation will include information on what you need to bring or prepare for your appointment. You can also check our website for details on what to bring or prepare (only available in Dutch)

24 hours before your appointment, we will send you a reminder via SMS.

If you have provided an email address, you will receive an email from noreply-balie@belastingdienst.nl.

Please note!

If you do not speak Dutch or English, we can only assist you if you bring an interpreter to your appointment.

If you're using a laptop or computer, open the link in one of the following browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge 83+.

  2. A screen will appear in your browser. Enter your name and then click 'Ga verder’ (Continue).

  3. A pop-up will appear if camera and microphone access is blocked.

Follow the on-screen instructions and then click 'Herladen’ (Reload).
