If you are a non-resident taxpayer, you can file your tax return electronically. If you do so, you will not be required to fill in a printed form. There are a number of advantages to filing your tax return electronically. It is quick and user-friendly and the program makes it easy to select the questions you are required to answer. The program limits the chances of mistakes by making the calculations for you and by partly checking the sections you filled in. The covering letter and the C Form for filing a return state the date by which the Tax and Customs Administration must receive your return. If you need more time, you may apply for a postponement by writing to the tax office that is competent in your case. Electronic signature
In order to file your tax return electronically, you must submit an electronic signature to the Tax and Customs Administration.
It is not always possible to file electronically
It is not possible to file your tax return electronically under the following circumstances:
- your personal situation is not supported by the tax return program;
- you have no access to the Internet;
- you do not have a computer that meets the technical requirements for running the Tax return Program.
If you are unable to file your tax return electronically and have not received a C Form, you will have to request a tax return form.
